"I didn’t expect the class to be so polished. I will never make that mistake again. Also never expected it to work on cognitive reconditioning. Pretty unique stuff from the various platforms I’ve tried and am trying. I would have committed more students from the get go if I had had any idea."

"Very engaging first class. Has already started some good dialogue and questions from my team members to me on how they can further work on things this week, so thumbs up to you guys."

"I learned how to apply all of this to this part of my world which I just haven't done before. It's just a feeling I got out of it. I guess. Maybe I just didn't understand my worth as a supervisor, like realizing that people do look to me for leadership and guidance. I just don't think that I had put myself there until this. So I have really taken a lot out of it. I could relate to so much and not even just at work, but like a home life. This kind of relates to all sorts of areas of life. Thank you!"

"I really enjoyed the the gold miner mentality where what you look for is what you start seeing more. That's really helped me a lot.Aand actually telling people that they are valuable because a lot of people like you said don't know that they're valuable, but also knowing that if I tell someone valuable and they don't feel it, it's not my fault. There's only so much we can do."

"Before, I just kind of felt like sometimes I didn’t feel like a manager and then people would make comments to me like you're the big boss or something like that and it was strange. My biggest takeaway is the confidence building that I am doing the right things, and that I have areas to grow in and continue to move in. And this has given me guidance which directs the way a little more. And I also got more confidence, and shaking that imposter feeling and stuff like that. It’s been a metamorphosis for me."

"I've really appreciated the liberating beliefs. So in my current position I'm pretty new, and it's been a really good exercise for me to practice those to be able to gain my confidence. I had great confidence in prior positions, but a new management position can be hard to step into. The mindset work was a great tool to help me be more confident."

Training partnerBeing good at the work does not automatically make leading people easy. New managers need a practical way to set expectations, give feedback, address conflict, and coach performance - without having to figure everything out alone.
New managers are often expected to handle feedback, accountability, conflict, former-peer relationships, and performance conversations before anyone has shown them how.
Without practical preparation, new managers can delay difficult conversations, communicate inconsistent expectations, or fall back into doing the work instead of leading the team.
